harrison wright falls

Edition of 20

Known as being "perhaps the most photogenic falls in the park," Harrison Wright Falls is a 27 foot tall waterfall found in Ricketts Glen State Park. The waterfall received its name from Harrison Wright, a lawyer with a doctorate in mineralogy and an interest in archaeology. Harrison was active in the Wyoming Historical and Geological Society, and he became good friends with R. Bruce Ricketts, whom was also a part of the same society.
